Tobago lies 21 miles (33Km) northeast of Trinidad. Tobago and sister Isle Trinidad, are the most southerly of the Caribbean Islands, just a few miles off the coast of Venezuela. Though only 16 miles long and 7 miles across, Tobago has quite a lot to offer both topside and underwater.

 
Tobago has the oldest protected rain forest in the northern hemisphere. We have 210 bird species, 123 species of butterflies,16 types of lizards,14 different frogs, 17 bats and 24 snakes all non-poisonous, plus a dozen different mammals. Waterfalls, hiking, nature trails, golf, tennis, windsurfing, and deep-sea fishing are some of the other topside attractions and activities.
 
Tobago’s diving ranges from the gentlest coral reef drifts to the most hair raising dives a veteran could want. Underwater visibility regularly reaches 100 plus feet with 80-100 feet being the norm. Every known species of hard coral and most of the "soft" corals, as well a the world’s largest known Brain Coral,12 feet high and 16 feet across are found here. Speyside provides access to exciting sites such as: Angel Reef, Black Jack Hole, Book Ends, Japanese Gardens, Batteaux Bay Drift and Coral Gardens to name a few.
